may 18: first basil harvest!

It's the most exciting thing to be able to grow your own food, especially when it comes to herbs that are easily $3 - $4 at the grocery store for a pack that you'll use once, leaving a whole pile of basil or parsley that rots in the back of your fridge.

Now I have all the fresh basil I need (and parsley, and nasturtium), and I only have to use what I need.

Efficient, practical, and delicious.
